UltraRough is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

What that means

When you click a link on this site that goes to Amazon and you make a purchase — the item we linked to, or anything else in your cart — we receive a small commission from Amazon. The price you pay is identical to what you'd pay otherwise. Amazon's commission comes out of their margin, not your wallet.

What it doesn't mean

We do not, have not, and will not accept payment for a review. No brand has ever sent us a product in exchange for coverage. No review on this site has been edited, softened, or rewritten at the request of a manufacturer.

If we say a product is mid-tier, it's mid-tier. If we say to skip something, we're saying it knowing it costs us a commission. That trade-off is the point.

Cookies & tracking

Outbound links carry a tag=ultrarough-20 query parameter so Amazon attributes the click to us. We use two analytics tools: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, no fingerprinting) and Google Analytics 4 (configured with IP anonymization). GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to count sessions — these contain no personal information and expire after 2 years. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not sell or share visitor data. We do not run retargeting pixels.
